Thermal imaging camera for the car roof
The M6 series PTZ thermal imaging camera is vehicle-mounted for outdoor surveillance, search and rescue, and security patrols. Equipped with a high-resolution 640×512 infrared detector, the M6s delivers crisp and clear images.
With two axes, the M6 can rotate 360° horizontally and ±90° vertically. It is controlled via a wired Type 485 keypad (optional accessory) or the Wi-Fi app.
Properties of the PTZ thermal camera
The camera is designed to be mounted on the car roof. The control can be done from the closed vehicle cabin (app). The PTZ Thermal has powerful image stabilization and thus delivers a good and steady image even when driving. The camera can also be used in frost. It has a de-icing function. Other features include: LAN connection (for stationary monitoring); 8 quick-select camera positions; up to 4x digital zoom.

Questions & Answers about the PTZ camera
Almost every second person drives through the area by car at night (“rubber stalking”). The camera makes it easier to track down Wild enormous. The image is gyroscopically stabilized and can be viewed even with the windows closed – all around.
The suction cups are very strong and hold up to heavy blows. Nevertheless, we would recommend a safety device, e.g. a tension belt, under the most difficult conditions away from dirt roads.
The detection of Wildspecies is also possible at 800m.
We used the camera in the rain and the performance remains available even then. There was no focus on raindrops.
