Infiray Outdoor Zoom ZH50 thermal imaging camera
New flagship model series “Zoom”
Optical zoom
50mm lens & high resolution sensor
New concept with optical enlargement of the image
The ZH "Zoom" device series is the first thermal imaging device to use optical image magnification for handheld thermal imaging devices. The advantage lies in the better image quality when the image is enlarged compared to digital image enlargement, as used by competing devices.
Features of the new Iray Xeye Zoom ZH50
➤ 50mm lens diameter
➤ Modern sensor with 12 micrometer pixel interval
➤ New exchangeable battery system for particularly long running times
➤ 640×512 detector with 12um pixel interval and 25mk NETD sensitivity
➤ Modern Ultra Clear Sensor; High Grade Infiray Sensor
➤ OLED display
➤ Extensive equipment: WLAN, REC
With the new "Zoom" product series, Iray introduces a completely new product line. The housing of the ZH50 and its little sister device are completely new developments and can therefore also come up with a long-awaited property - a replaceable battery system.
First interchangeable battery system at Iray
After Iray already presented a device with a removable battery in the middle class in 2021, the upper class segment is now also being equipped with this feature. The ZH50 housing features a proprietary swappable battery solution that allows for quick and easy battery replacement in the hunting ground.
The Zoom is not lacking in features
The Zoom has all the usual equipment features of the upper class. The device is of course equipped with a WiFi module and app support via the mobile device. It also comes with various color palettes, a picture-in-picture function and manual focus. Further information on the equipment and software details of the device will follow shortly.
First interchangeable battery system at Iray
After Iray already presented a device with a removable battery in the middle class in 2021, the upper class segment is now also being equipped with this property. The housing of the ZH38 has the company's own exchangeable battery solution, which enables the battery to be replaced quickly and easily in the hunting ground.
The ZH50 competes against the best in its class
Iray competes in the upper class with the ZH50 Zoom. The device has the latest detector of the house, which works in the 12µm pixel interval and is based on vanadium oxide technology. The sensitivity of the detector detects temperature differences from ≤ 25 mk (NETD) and is therefore significantly more sensitive than detectors from the competition, which often only detect temperature differences at ≤ 35 mk (NETD).
The Zoom is not lacking in features
The Zoom has all the usual equipment features of the upper class. The device is of course equipped with a WiFi module and app support via the mobile device. It also comes with 5 color palettes, a picture-in-picture function and manual focus. The device also has an altimeter, a digital compass and a gravity sensor. The ZH38 also has a microphone and can therefore also record the sound for the video recordings.

Frequently asked questions and answers about the Zoom ZH50
With its “Zoom” series, Iray (Xeye) is launching its first devices with optical image magnification . Previous models offered only digital magnification. The “Zoom” function can be set to 2.2x optical magnification for close-up work . For longer distances, it can be switched to 4.4x optical magnification . This is then combined with the digital zoom function familiar from other devices, resulting in a total magnification of up to 17,6x.
YES - the ZH38 is equipped with an exchangeable battery system. Iray uses a proprietary battery system for the ZH38. 2x rechargeable batteries are included.
