The MATE TEMPLATE25 of InfiRay Outdoor This is a thermal imaging clip-on device for hunting. The device is particularly suitable for beginners and hunters with wooded hunting grounds and short-range applications. The sensor triggers with 384 × 288 pixels The detector sensitivity is... ≤30 mK NETDA low NETD value indicates the ability to detect subtle temperature differences. AMOLED display shows images in 1024 × 768 pixelsThe casing is made of a magnesium alloy. It weighs only 460 grams – barely more than a rifle scope. The battery is dual-purpose. An internal battery provides approximately 4,5 hours of runtime. An external auxiliary battery extends the runtime to up to 12hThe MAL25 is after IP66K protected. Rain and dust pose no problem for the device. We, the team from Venari Jagd will show you which hunting area the MAL25 is best suited for.
The MAL25 starts with an internal battery. An additional external battery is included. Together, both batteries last up to... 12h through. This ensures the device remains ready for use even during long periods of sitting.
The buttons on the device are removable. Using the included base, you can mount the remote control directly to the weapon. This allows you to operate the MAL25 without taking your weapon off the handle.
Properties at a glance
Sensor and image quality – 384 × 288 pixels
The sensor of the MAL25 triggers with 384 × 288 pixels The detector sensitivity is... ≤30 mK NETDA low NETD value indicates subtle temperature differences. This results in a smooth, detailed image. The 12 μm pixel pitch ensures a harmonious image without banding. The AMOLED display delivers this sharpness with 1024 × 768 pixels again.
Optics and field of view – 25 mm lens
The lens measures 25 mm at a light intensity of F1.1This results in a wider field of view than with the larger sister models. MATE-Series. At a distance of 100 m you can see 18,4 m Width. One piece. Wild It thus switches into view earlier. The detection range is... 1.298 m.
The larger models are suitable for very long shooting distances. MATEThe MAL25 series is better. Its strengths lie in short and medium distances – for example at baiting sites or in wooded areas.
Recording and operation – app and remote control
The MAL25 saves photos and videos to 32 GB Internal memory. You connect the device to the app via Wi-Fi. The detachable remote control sits directly on the weapon. The USB-C port charges the device. The USB-C port also transfers data.
Mount the remote control to the front of the rifle using the Velcro strip. This allows you to operate the MAL25 without lowering the rifle and without losing sight of the point of impact.
Battery and robustness – up to 12 hours of runtime
The internal battery lasts approximately 4,5 hours. The external battery extends the runtime by an additional 7,5 hours. The housing is made of a magnesium alloy. Protection class IP66K It repels dust and splashes of water. It weighs only... 460 grams.
My experience with that InfiRay MATE TEMPLATE25
I used the MAL25 several times at a short feeding station. Long waits, limited space, but that's precisely where the MAL25 shines. low weight You hardly notice it on the scope, even after hours in a hunting blind. The dual-battery system really helped me this time: The internal battery lasted throughout the evening, which external It was available as a backup. So I didn't have to worry about the runtime.
Even in humid air and poor visibility, the MAL25 delivers clean imageEven when it became foggy later in the evening, I could still speak clearly.
The remote control also impresses me. Once mounted on the weapon, I can adjust the focus without having to take the rifle off my shoulder.
For the Feeding, short distances And in my opinion, the MAL25 is exactly right for getting started with thermal imaging hunting.
Good Hunting,
Jens

Frequently asked questions and answers about the MAL25
Which IF magnification is suitable for this? MATE?
Note:: Depending on the magnification of the daylight optics used, the visible image section changes on the monitor. The entire display is visible with a magnification of 1 to approx. 2.5 times (deviations are possible depending on the manufacturer of the daylight optics. During operation, an effective enlargement of the daylight optics is possible up to approx. 9x.
Can the device save multiple profiles?
JA - The device can store up to 4 profiles, so multiple impact correction data can be saved for different lenses. The conversion to a different glass / setup is therefore done in no time at all
Which adapter is used for this? Mate recommended?
As recommended with all thermal imaging attachments VENARI the duo connector, i.e. a two-part bayonet system. The advantage lies in the significantly increased repeatability when dismantling and reassembling the attachment.
