Eye III Max - Redesigned from the ground up
The Eye III Max is with the new mid-range sensor from Infiray Outdoor fitted. The resolution is the usual mid-range 384 x 288 pixels. The special feature of the new sensor lies in the details. It is manufactured using the 12µm manufacturing process. Furthermore – and this is from the technology side the biggest innovation – the Eye III is particularly sensitive. The sensor senses temperature differences of less than 25 milli-Kelvin (!!!).. This value is partly clear below those of competing devices. The result is an almost realistic (black/white) image and a subjectively significantly improved image impression.
- NETD <25mK sensitivity – Most powerful sensor in its class, particularly detailed heat signature display
- 12 micrometer (micron) sensor – More range due to more powerful sensor than competing devices (usually 17 micrometers)
- 35mm lens for easy absorption of heat radiation
- 5 color palettes – Fast reaction to different visibility conditions
- Picture-in-picture function for easy orientation even in the highest zoom level
The Eye Max comes with additional features such as Wi-Fi and image/video recording. It has diopter adjustment, a video output, and a USB interface for charging and data transfer.
InfiRay Eye III device series with helpful improvements
Infiray Outdoor has dealt with the Mate, Affo and Eye III devices have been completely repositioned. The Eye III Max is probably the manufacturer's most important volume model and has various improvements. The design of the device has been completely revised and Infiray With the Eye III models, it finally says goodbye to the “teardrop shape” of previous devices. The housings now consist of a tube, without tapered shapes. The control unit was also completely redesigned. The Eye III Max is now controlled via a turn-push wheel and an additional button. The controls are much more intuitive with this layout, even in absolute darkness.
Helpful details and features
In addition to the fundamental innovations in terms of technology and design, InfiRay has given the Eye devices a few very helpful detail improvements:
Fast charging function – Like many mobile devices, the Eye III Max has a fast charging function. The thermal imaging camera can be charged to around 90% capacity within an hour.
Magnetic charging cable – The charging cable is fixed by magnetic force. The charging connector is thus better protected against improper plugging and unplugging or accidental tearing off.
Microphone for sound during video recording InfiRay is now equipping its devices with microphones for the first time. The sound of video recordings can be recorded for a better atmosphere and comments.
