Top-class thermal imaging attachment
The CH50w is a top-class thermal imaging device due to the high-resolution sensor (640 x 512 px) and the large 50mm objective lens. The device comes onto the market as the successor to the Ch50 V2 and can come up with a few new tricks.
Innovation of the CH50w from Infiray
The device now has WiFi and can therefore also use the Infiray Outdoor App can be controlled. In this way, the CH50 can now be controlled via a mobile device and stream the image to the mobile device. Another advantage is the device's video recording function, which can now be used to record scenes and take photos.
Adaptation of the CH50w to the basic magnification of their daylight optics
Menu and display can be adapted to daylight optics. This means that glasses with a larger basic magnification can also be used without any problems. Profiles G1 and G2 are recommended for daily sight magnifications from 1× to 4×, while G3 and G4 are intended for 5× to 9×.
Remarkable image quality – 12um 640×512, NETD ≤40mK
The device has a thermal sensor with 12 μm pixel pitch and a resolution of 640 × 512 at NETD ≤ 40 mK. Furthermore, an OLED display with 1024 × 768 pixels is installed in order to be able to display the image in detail and to ensure very good detail recognition even under the most difficult weather conditions.
Ultra Clear mode
The built-in ultra-clear mode increases the quality of the detail display and thus ensures better object recognition, making it easier to assess the situation and respond better.
Born for professional precision shooting - No need to re-zero
With the special calibration of the CH50W, re-zeroing after mounting on the day scope is not necessary. Pinch and shoot, that's it.

Which IF magnification fits the CH50w?
NEW FEATURE : The menu and display can be adjusted to daylight optics. This means that lenses with higher base magnification can also be used without any problems.
Profiles G1 and G2 are recommended for daily sight magnifications from 1× to 4×, while G3 and G4 are intended for 5× to 9×.
Please note : Depending on the magnification of the daylight optics used, the visible image area on the monitor will change. At 1x to approximately 2.5x magnification, the entire display is visible (variations may occur depending on the manufacturer of the daylight optics). In operation, an effective magnification of up to approximately 9x is possible with the daylight optics.
Can the device save multiple profiles?
YES – the device can store up to 4 profiles, allowing multiple point-of-impact correction data sets to be saved for different lenses. Switching to a different lens/setup is therefore quick and easy.
Calibration control (shutter)
You can activate/deactivate the automatic calibration of the shutter. The shutter is triggered automatically on the CH50W. This happens when the temperature in the camera's field of view changes more than 10° degrees or automatically after a pre-programmed time. With the “Autocalibration” setting you can disable the automatic shutter. After that, don't forget to operate the shutter manually by pressing C and M together. The image of the thermal imaging camera degenerates after a certain time and needs this adjustment.
Can the batteries be charged via the CH50w itself with a 230V (cell phone) charger?
No, the CH50 must not be connected to a mobile phone charger. This will destroy the device! The batteries must be charged externally.
What is the advantage of the model over its predecessor?

Which adapter is recommended for the CH50w?
As recommended with all thermal imaging attachments VENARI the duo connector, i.e. a two-part bayonet system. The advantage lies in the significantly increased repeatability when dismantling and reassembling the attachment.
