HIKmicro Thunder TQ50c 3.0 – Thermal Imaging Attachment

The HIKmicro Thunder TQ50c 3.0 The TQ50c 3.0 is a top-of-the-line thermal imaging clip-on device. It is suitable for hunters who want to accurately identify targets at long distances. The VOx sensor has a resolution of 640×512 pixels. The heat sensitivity is... below 15 mK NETD – that's the highest value in this device class. 50mm lens F1.0 It also detects weak heat sources at great distances. The OLED display has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The image remains clear and detailed even in rain and fog. Magnesium housing has a protection class of IP67The TQ50c 3.0 can withstand temperatures from -30 °C to +55 °C. Included in the scope of delivery are: two interchangeable batteries Included. Each battery is sufficient for at least 6 hours.

Who is the HIKmicro suitable for? Thunder TQ50c 3.0?

mixed area
The TQ50c 3.0 covers both short and long distances. Its detection range is up to 2.600 m. The image remains clear and sharp even at close range.
Very suitable
field station
The 50mm lens is designed for long-range shooting. Its high heat sensitivity ensures clear focusing even in humid air and rain. The TQ50c 3.0 is the right tool for open terrain.
Very suitable
forest district
The field of view is only [missing information] at 100 m. 15,4 mIn dense forests, this significantly restricts the field of view. For use exclusively in forests, we recommend models with a shorter lens.
Limited suitability
WildAnimal monitoring
The TQ50c 3.0 can be used as a standalone monocular. The live image is transmitted via WiFi to a mobile device. Observations, counts, and documentation are thus easily possible.

New to the Thunder 3.0th Generation

NEW: Shutterless system (HSIS)

Older thermal imaging devices calibrate the sensor regularly. During calibration, the image freezes briefly. This often happens just as the wild boar emerges from its feeding area. The HIKmicro Shutterless Image System (HSIS) calibrates the sensor in the background. The image continues uninterrupted. No clicking, no blackout – no lost moment on the stalk.

NEW: Thermal sensitivity below 15 mK NETD

The NETD value Specifies how small a temperature difference can be. The sensor must still be able to detect this difference. The previous model worked with <20 mKThe TQ50c 3.0 now reaches <15 mK. Wild It stands out more clearly from the background. Weak heat sources become visible earlier. The overall image appears calmer and with sharper contours.

NEW: Direct photo and video playback on the device

Recordings can now be played back directly on the TQ50c 3.0 . A smartphone or app is not required. Shot recordings can be reviewed immediately while in the hunting blind. The setup process does not need to be interrupted.

NEW: Multiple correction profiles can be saved

The TQ50c 3.0 stores multiple correction profiles for different base optics. Users who switch the attachment between multiple firearms can recall the appropriate profile at the touch of a button. Re-zeroing is not necessary.

Optics and range – Wild Addressable up to 600 m

The 50mm lens F1.0 is the most powerful lens of the Thunder-series. The lens collects a lot of heat radiation. This directly benefits the range. The TQ50c 3.0 detects Wild up to 2.600 mClean response is possible up to approximately... 600 m possible. The recommended maximum shooting distance is 220 mThe field of view is . at 100 m 15,4 m horizontal – ideal for open terrain and fields. The focus knob is located inside. Close to the housing. The focus button is easily accessible even with gloves. Digital zoom is available in several steps. 2×, 4× and 8× Available. Shot recording and functions – the hit is documented

The TQ50c 3.0 automatically detects recoil. The device records 7 seconds before and after the shot . No manual intervention is required. The recordings are stored on the 64GB memory and can be played back directly on the device. The live image is transmitted to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and an app . Hotspot tracking automatically highlights the warmest area in the image. The TQ50c 3.0 is equipped with a tripod thread , allowing it to be securely mounted for monitoring purposes from a hunting stand.

Note: Diopter adjustment

The TQ50c 3.0 can be adjusted at the eyepiece from -5 D to +5 D. This makes the TQ50c 3.0 suitable for eyeglass wearers – without any restriction of the field of view.

Battery life and robustness – ready for any mission

The package includes two spare batteries . Each battery lasts for at least 6 hours . When the first one is depleted, the second one automatically takes over – without any waiting time. Alternatively, the TQ50c 3.0 can be powered via USB-C using a power bank . The magnesium housing is IP67 certified : dustproof and waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter. The TQ50c 3.0 is recoil-proof up to 8.000 joules . Even powerful calibers pose no problem for the TQ50c 3.0. The device weighs 500 g including the battery – well-balanced on the riflescope.

My conclusion on Thunder TQ50c 3.0

Jens Dewenter in the precinct - VENARI HUNTThe HIKmicro Thunder The TQ50c 3.0 is my recommendation for anyone who also wants to... open areas and in the field area out and about. The 50mm lens captures enough image even at 200 meters to clearly identify a target. The OLED display is impressively clear on such a small screen. And the shutterless system – no more freezing at the wrong moment. That might sound like a small detail, but it's worth its weight in gold in the field.

What really convinced me was the automatic recording feature. I still vividly remember one night when, after firing a shot, I wasn't sure where I'd hit. With the TQ50c, that wouldn't have been a problem – simply play back the video, check the point of impact, and you're done. That provides a sense of peace that's invaluable in the dark.

My only advice: Anyone who regularly changes hunting grounds or hunts a lot in open terrain should seriously consider the version with a laser rangefinder . Distances can be deceiving in thermal imaging more quickly than you'd think – and a clean shot starts with the correct distance.

Jens

I am a hunter. When you come to me, you won't be talking to a salesperson – but to someone who actually uses the equipment in the field.

There's a raised platform right next to the sales area. Take a seat, grab the device – and look out. That's how you'll see how it really counts.

I will take my time for you. Therefore, I kindly ask you to make a brief appointment beforehand.

Yours sincerely, Jens Dewenter Venari Hunting, Rastede
