Many thermal imaging devices freeze the image briefly – every 30 to 120 seconds. Anyone who has ever stood in front of a bait site during a tense moment knows this. The TQ35C 3.0 no longer does this. The HSIS system calibrates the sensor without any image loss . The observation continues uninterrupted – even the moment the sow emerges from its cover.
The TQ35C 3.0 processes the raw image using the Image Pro 3.0 algorithm . The result: increased contrast at edges and less background noise. This makes a noticeable difference in clear image reproduction at long distances – especially in humid air and fog.
Photos and videos can now be played back directly on the TQ35C – no app, no phone required. After the shot, the trajectory can be checked immediately. The point of impact on the video shows whether tracking is necessary or if the animal is down.
Sensor and image quality – clear response in darkness, rain and fog
The sensor of the TQ35C 3.0 triggers with 640×512 pixels at a pixel spacing of 12 um The thermal sensitivity is... less than 15 mK NETDFor comparison: the predecessor model had a NETD of 20 mK. A lower NETD value means the sensor can detect even smaller temperature differences. The image remains clear when stalking game in rain or humid air. The frame rate is... 50 HzFast-moving blackwild shows no motion blur.
Optics and range – wide field of view with 35 mm lens
The TQ35C uses a 35mm lens with an aperture of F1.0 . The horizontal field of view is 12,5 degrees – that's 21,9 meters wide at a distance of 100 meters . This is exceptionally wide for a 35mm lens. When hunting from a stand with a view of a wide field edge, more of the game remains in the frame. The manufacturer specifies a detection range of 1800 meters . We recommend a maximum distance of around 550 meters for clearly identifying an animal – this is based on our experience in the field. For a safe shot, the aiming point can be set accurately up to 180 meters . The lens can be focused manually using an internal focus knob.
Display and recording – see what happens – and prove what it was like
The OLED display measures 0,49 inches and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels – that's Full HD. The image appears clear and sharp, even at maximum digital zoom. Six color palettes are available: Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, and Green Monochrome . The appropriate palette can be selected when targeting game in the dark. The TQ35C automatically records video. The recoil-activated recording automatically saves the seven seconds before and after the shot. This facilitates tracking and documents the point of impact without additional effort. The internal memory has a capacity of 64 GB.
The TQ35C 3.0 stores five separate correction profiles . Users who switch between different weapons or scopes don't need to re-zero when changing them. This saves time – especially when the clip-on device is used between multiple weapons.
Battery, housing and robustness – 6 hours of operation, even in rain
The TQ35C's housing consists of Magnesium alloy. The MateRial is lightweight yet sturdy. With battery, the device weighs 460 grams – that's roughly the weight of a full 0,5-liter bottle. The protection after IP67K This means the TQ35C is completely dustproof and can withstand being submerged in one meter of water for 30 minutes. This makes no difference when stalking in the rain or sitting in a damp hunting blind. replaceable battery pack lasts at least at 25 °C 6h No hotspot. Two batteries are included with the TQ35C. The operating temperature range is from −30 °C to +55 °C.
The HIKmicro Thunder TQ35C 3.0 has no integrated laser rangefinderAnyone who wants to accurately measure the distance to the piece should use a separate rangefinder – or go to version [version number missing]. TQ50CL 3.0 with integrated LRF switch.
