More informationKey features of the HIKmicro Falcon FQ50 2.0
The HIKmicro Falcon FQ50 2.0 is a thermal imaging attachment for stalking and hunting from a hide. At its core, it works as a 640×512 pixel VOx sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch – fine enough to cleanly separate animal hair and twigs. The The NETD value is below 15 mKThis means that the image remains sharp even in fog, rain, or humid summer air. F0.9 aperture It captures approximately 19% more infrared radiation than a classic F1.0 lens. On the Full HD OLED display with 1920×1080 pixels that works Wild The housing is three-dimensional and clearly contrasts with the background. It consists of a... Magnesium alloy and is after IP67K Protected against dust and water. With 583 grams Despite this, the device is light in the hand – hardly heavier than a large flashlight. Two 21700 batteries Included in the package is a charger. This ensures you won't be without a picture during the last few meters of a long wait.

The revised algorithm significantly reduces image noise. Contours of Wild The background and the surroundings become more clearly separated. This is particularly beneficial when aiming cleanly at long distances.
The focus wheel is now located directly on the eyepiece. You can adjust the focus without taking your other hand off the shooting stick or the weapon.
Calibration is automatic and requires no mechanical shutter. The typical clicking sound when freezing the image is eliminated – an advantage when the boar is at close range.
Sensor and image quality – below 15 mK NETD even in rain
The 640×512 pixel sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch delivers a fine, stable image. A NETD value of less than 15 mK ensures that even small temperature differences remain visible – for example, between a piece of undergrowth and the foliage behind it. The f/0.9 aperture gathers more light than conventional lenses. Therefore, the image remains clear enough for reliable identification even in humid air and fog.
Range – Wild detect up to 2.600 m
The Falcon FQ50 2.0 detects heat sources up to 2.600 MetersIn practice, deer can still be reliably located at distances of over 2.000 meters. The field of vision covers a distance of 100 meters. 15,4 Meters ab – in the confined forest area you should keep this in mind, in the open field area the range really comes into its own.
The Falcon The FQ50 2.0 does not have an integrated laser rangefinder. Those who want to read the distance to the subject directly in the image should choose the other version. FQ50L with integrated LRF. Click here for the version with rangefinder..
Recording and operation – Video album directly on the device
Stream the live image to up to four devices simultaneously using the HIKmicro Sight app . The 64 GB internal memory records photos and videos with audio. The video album function displays recorded clips directly on the device – without having to use your smartphone. The on/off switch is located on the side and is easy to find, even with gloves on, in the dark.
The tilt sensor automatically switches off the display as soon as you lower the device – for example, when hanging it around your neck. This saves battery power and prevents unwanted flashing in the dark.
Battery life and robustness – up to 13 hours in the field
ZWEI 21700 batteries The charger is included in the delivery. The device runs for up to [duration] per battery. 6,5h, together with both are up to 13 hours Continuous operation is possible – even a long night's wait is no problem. The magnesium alloy housing is designed for IP67K Protected against rain and dust. With 583 grams is that Falcon The FQ50 2.0 is pleasantly light in the hand.
My experience with the HIKmicro Falcon FQ50 2.0
I am that HIKmicro Falcon FQ50 2.0 I've driven through the field several times now, and the picture has really convinced me. Sharpness at over 2000 meters It's impressive – I was able to easily identify a deer that I wouldn't have even seen with the naked eye. I especially like that. Rear focus wheelFinally, I no longer have to reach forward to the lens when readjusting it; this really saves nerves when using a stalking stick.
The shutterless technology is also noticeable in everyday use. No more clicking during calibration – a clear advantage, especially at close range. At just under 570 grams, it's also pleasantly light in the hand; you'll notice this even after hours in a hunting blind.
The only downside: no built-in rangefinder. For those who frequently shoot long distances, I would definitely recommend the FQ50L with its integrated rangefinder . The few extra grams are well worth the added safety when shooting.
