The Condor: Compact performance with LRF function
The Condor GQ50L is the most powerful thermal imaging device in the world HIKmicro Condor Device family. It has a high-end sensor with a resolution of 640×512 pixels, manufactured in a 12µm pixel interval and combines this with a large 50mm lens. The sensor is not only high resolution, but is also particularly powerful with a Sensitivity of <20mK NETD – a very good value and one of the factors for the device’s very good image. The GQ50L has extensive features and offers the discerning hunter all the necessary tools. A special detail of the device is the laser rangefinder. Because of this LRF module The distance to the target can be determined to the nearest meter and up to 1km away. This is particularly helpful for devices in unknown areas. Another advantage of the GQ50L is this Exchangeable battery system of the device. This means that the battery can be replaced in seconds and the running time is therefore not a problem when sitting for long periods.
➤ Thermal imaging camera of Upper class
➤ High sensitivity and therefore high image detail: <20mK NETD sensitivity (very good!)
➤ Particularly long guarantee VENARI | 3 year manufacturer guarantee
➤ Particularly suitable for field areas due to the optical magnification (3x) In large 50mm lens and the associated with it narrow cone of vision of around 15m at a distance of 100m
➤ System performance: 50mm lens diameter | OLED display: 1.024 x 768 pixels
➤ Sensor: 640 x 512 pixels and 12 micrometer pixel interval
➤ Exchangeable battery system: Long battery life, changing the battery in seconds
➤ Inclinometer can control standby
➤ Very good equipment comprehensive: picture-in-picture function | Hotspot mark | Attitude Sensor | microphone

More informationHIKmicro Condor – High performance thermal imaging camera for hunting
HIKmicro has this Condor Device series for the first time in November 2023. The device series is externally very reminiscent of the “Gryphon” series. However, HIK has come up trumps in terms of both the housing and the technology. The Condor is a compact thermal imaging device that was particularly designed for hunting purposes. The device has a replaceable battery system, ergonomic and intuitive operation (even in the dark) and a laser rangefinder for precise distance determination. The Condor comes onto the market in four variants:
- HIKmicro Condor CH25L: Mid-range sensor with 25mm lens (wide field of view, good for forest areas)
- HIKmicro Condor CH35L: Mid-range sensor with 35mm lens (all-rounder for mixed areas)
- HIKmicro Condor CQ35L: Upper-class sensor with 35mm lens (extra performance thanks to high-resolution sensor, very good for higher field proportions in the area)
- HIKmicro Condor CQ50L: Top model with top-class sensor & 50mm lens (highest performance, ideal for longer distances.
All models have the same features and functions, differing only in terms of the sensor used, the optical unit, and consequently, different fields of view and basic magnifications.
OLED screen - The Condor is equipped with a high-quality OLED display. This type of display has high contrast and improves the representation of the image. The display resolution is 1024 × 768 pixels.
Exchangeable battery system – Type 18650 batteries are used. These can be exchanged quickly and quietly in the district. Even long stands or stalking are no problem. The batteries of this type are available cheaply in stores. Three batteries are already included in the scope of delivery.
Laser distance measurer – The LRF module of the Condor allows an exact determination of the distance to the target in question. The LRF can measure distances of up to 1.000m and works reliably and quickly.
Zoom Pro & Image Pro function – The Image-Pro function sharpens the image Condor digitally. The result is sharper contours and, depending on the weather conditions, a more detailed image. With the Zoom-Pro function, HIKmicro has taken on digital zoom. With most thermal imaging devices, the digital zoom results in the image quality being washed out. Higher zoom levels in particular are hardly usable. HIKmicro counteracts this problem with the “Zoom Pro” function. The software of the Condor ensures targeted sharpening of the image as soon as the zoom is used. This is particularly noticeable at the first and second zoom levels. The image becomes significantly better and the practicality of digitally enlarging the image increases greatly.
Tilt sensor (standby control) – The device has an inclination sensor. This can control the standby of the device. If the device is hanging on the loop or lying on the side, this will be detected Condor via the inclination sensor that it is not being actively used and switches to standby mode to save energy and extend battery life.
Compact housing & ergonomics - The Condor has a high-quality housing with compact dimensions. The handles are rubberized and allow a firm grip, even when wet. Despite the removable battery compartment and LRF module, this remains the case Condor Pleasantly compact and can be easily stored in a jacket pocket or carried via the shoulder strap.
Hand strap with magnet for cap – A high-quality hand strap on the device rounds off the ergonomics of the device Condor away. The loop ensures a secure hold and prevents it from falling. A magnet is incorporated into the hand strap, which can be used to fix the lens protective cap. This means it doesn't dangle annoyingly on the device.

Other features
WiFi & APP support: The Condor Like most modern thermal imaging monoculars, it has a WiFi (WLAN) function. With this you can, for example, connect to the thermal imaging camera with your cell phone and control various functions via the associated app.
color palettes – The device has several color palettes. The hunter can also choose between two image modes and thus further adjust the color palettes as desired. The contrast value can also be adjusted.
Picture-in-picture – The PiP function shows an enlarged image section at the top center of the display. The goal is not to lose orientation at higher zoom levels. The magnification only affects the center of the image, making orientation easier for the hunter.
Recording sound - The Condor has a microphone. The sound can be recorded during video recording.
Hotspot tracking – The software of the Condor detects heat sources (people / animals) and can mark and track them on the display. This means you don't lose sight of moving heat sources.
