50mm objective lens – now also available with the Liemke Lynx

Liemke has expanded its Luchs series of devices with the Luchs-2 . Technically, the device is based on the Luchs-1 , but is equipped with a 50mm lens. The Luchs-2 is therefore not a replacement for the Luchs-1; rather, it is aimed at hunters with open fields and for target acquisition at distances well over 150m. The 50mm lens significantly increases the Luchs' system performance. It utilizes the familiar 640x512px resolution detector, manufactured using a 12µm process and exhibiting a sensitivity of <50mK (NETD), the same detector used in the Luchs-1.

Special feature of the attachment

In contrast to most other attachments, Liemke relies on a permanently installed battery for the Luchs. This has a particularly high capacity and supplies electricity for up to 9 hours. Another interesting thing about this device is the mechanical switch (on / stand-by / off), which is easy to feel and control even in absolute darkness. The Luchs-1 has a video recording function and can store up to 32GB video/photoMatesave rial.

Questions & Answers about the Luchs-2

YES – the device can save up to 3 profiles, allowing multiple point-of-impact correction data sets to be saved for different lenses. Switching to a different lens/setup is therefore quick and easy.

The devices are up to the lens (35mm / 50mm) identical in construction.

YES – we recommend using the Duo Connector and the Duo Connector eyepiece (3,5x) for this purpose.
