Allow thermal imaging devices to zero in

Depending on the type of attachment, an exact zeroing is necessary. Once the hunter is in the hunting ground, he/she must be able to absolutely rely on his equipment in order to guarantee a hunt that is fair and fair. Here are a few details on zeroing in attachments: 

Which devices have to be zeroed in? 

Depending on the technology, attachments must be zeroed in. It should be noted that only devices that produce a second image plane in relation to the telescopic sight must be sighted in. This means that

  1. thermal Imaging attachments (WBV) must be zeroed in. WBV ALWAYS have to be included become. In the rarest of cases there is no need to make any corrections to the meeting point. The WBV must also be zeroed in on every ZF/weapon combination. If you have several weapons in use, you should purchase a WBV that has several memory locations for zeroing and thus allows you to easily adjust the WBV to the current weapon (InfiRay Outdoor CL42, CH50, the Mate-Series and the Liemke Luchs-1, Luchs-2 currently offer this option).
  2. roar-Night vision devices (infrared night vision) do NOT have to be shot in, as they do not have a monitor in the device and therefore do not produce a second image plane. Of course, a test shot is also mandatory with these devices. However, there is usually no need to correct the point of impact. 
  3. Digital intentdevices (infrared night vision) usually do not have to be zeroed in. It is true that these devices have a monitor in the device that generates a second image plane. Due to the design, however, in most cases this does NOT lead to a shift in the point of impact. The following also applies to these devices: a test shot is mandatory, but in 9 out of 10 cases no corrections have to be made. 
  4. Digital postscriptdevices (infrared night vision) are not shot in. These additional devices are clamped onto the glass at the back. Due to its design, such a device cannot lead to a shift in the point of impact. A correction is therefore never necessary / possible for additional devices.
