What to look for when buying the target optics?

Choosing the right hunting scope can mean the difference between a successful hunting trip and a disappointing experience. Careful consideration when choosing a scope not only contributes to accuracy, but also increases safety and the overall experience.

At the Budget plays a crucial role in choosing the right scope. However, it should be noted that in this case quality and durability should prevail over price. In the field of hunting optics, quality and price are often closely linked, and a higher investment can pay off in the long run through durability and reliable performance. Our online store offers a wide range of optics for different budgets and needs.

The Tempering and coating of the glass are crucial factors for image quality. A good lens coating improves light transmission and reduces reflections, resulting in clear and sharp images. Our product range includes riflescopes with high-quality coatings and coatings that deliver first-class results even under the most demanding conditions.

The Transmission of the optics is of great importance, especially in low light conditions. A high light transmission ensures bright and clear images, even in the twilight. Our optics offer outstanding light transmission, which gives you a clear image even in difficult lighting conditions.

The edge sharpness is an aspect that is often overlooked, but which plays a significant role. Good edge definition ensures that the entire image, including the edges, is sharp and clear. In our range you will find rifle scopes that have excellent edge sharpness.

shot resistance is a must for any hunting optics. Our scopes are built tough and able to withstand the recoil of even the most powerful weapons without causing alignment changes or damage.

A reliable and precise mechanics is paramount to ensure accurate and consistent alignment. Our scopes feature precise and easy-to-use adjustment mechanisms that allow for easy adjustment and accuracy.

Many of our models have one illuminated reticle, which allows easy target acquisition in low light conditions.

Note: Other optional features such as parallax compensation or a ballistic turret can be found in each model's product description.

We hope this information will be of help to you in choosing the right optic for your hunting needs and we look forward to welcoming you to our online shop.

The reticle on the 1st or 2nd image plane?

Reticles can be positioned in two different focal planes of a rifle scope, either in the first (1st focal plane, also called FFP for First Focal Plane) or in the second (2nd focal plane, also called SFP for Second Focal Plane).

Reticle in the 1nd image plane increase with the magnification of the scope. This means that the markings on the reticle are always in the same relationship to the target, regardless of the magnification level selected. This offers the great advantage that shots at different distances or in varying wind conditions can be precisely compensated. It is also possible to measure distances and sizes at different magnification levels, which can be very useful in tactical applications or when hunting at different distances.

A disadvantage of 1st image plane reticles can be that at low magnification the reticle can be small and difficult to see. Likewise, at high magnification it can appear more dominant and potentially distracting.

Reticle in the 2nd image plane on the other hand, do not increase with the magnification of the scope. They remain consistently large, regardless of the magnification. This can be particularly useful with targets at known ranges and when hunting where a clear, unaltered image of the target is important.

However, this can also mean that the reticle markings can only be used at a specific magnification for accurate measurements and range estimation. With other magnification levels, the markings would have to be converted accordingly, which can lead to errors when shooting quickly under time pressure.

In summary, the choice between 1st or 2nd focal plane reticles depends on the intended application, the shooter's preferences and the specific requirements of the particular hunting or shooting situation.
