IR brightener
Night vision devices amplify the light that is barely visible to the eye at dusk or at night. Light that is barely visible to the human eye is amplified by an image converter tube or a CCD photo sensor.
The image performance that the hunter can now draw on is the result of the different components of the night vision attachment, such as lens, electronics, image converter tube or photo sensor, possibly monitor and eyepiece. Depending on the required range, an additional light source must be used.
To the Wild In order not to scare people away, invisible infrared light with a wavelength of over 800 nanometers is used. Two technologies have been established here:
- Infrared LED lamps (similar to a flashlight)
- infrared lasers (laser diode with bundling of the light beams)
