night vision devices for hunting
In this category you will find Night vision devices for mounting in front of / behind an optic. We distinguish between digital night vision and roar-Devices. (here is the explanation)

Accessories
Advantages of tube devices
- Extreme sharpness
- No delay
- Detection even in difficult visibility conditions
Advantages of digital devices
- Easy operation
- No damage from daylight possible
- Extensive functions depending on the model
Night vision attachments for hunting
Night vision devices are used for hunting in conjunction with target optics (hunting abroad!), binoculars or lenses. The night vision devices are often called intent (Structure: Eye -> Optics -> Night Vision Device), rarer than postscript (Structure: eye -> night vision devices -> optics). Some manufacturers also offer pure night vision handheld devices (monoculars), although these are less used in hunting.
Within the attachments, a distinction is then made between tube technology and digital technology. Tube night vision attachments use a picture tube that intensifies the residual light, through which the infrared light is captured and made visible. Digital night vision attachments use an image sensor that reacts to infrared and processes the image digitally. With digital night vision devices, you look at a screen inside the device. With tube devices, the image is seen “directly” through the target optics and the picture tube.
tube night vision devices
Night vision devices with picture tubes offer the greatest performance in the field of Night vision for hunters. The most powerful devices are those with tube technology. Especially the manufacturer Lahoux (LV-81) is recommended for ambitious hunters. Lahoux is the only manufacturer to install Photonis Echo Plus picture tubes with over 1.900 FOM and thus achieve picture performance that is usually only used by the military and security agencies.
Against the background of recent changes in the law (no use of IR brighteners), this is of particular interest, since the most powerful tube devices can even be operated over long distances without infrared radiators.
Digital night vision devices
Digital night vision devices are becoming more and more widespread. The advantage of digital technology is that cheap price, the low weight and the safe (since daylight-capable) use in twilight / daylight. The performance is included digital night vision devices but below the highest performance classes of tube devices.
Night vision attachments for hunting
There are some (few) postscriptdevices on the market. Basically, hunters have concerns when mounting their target optics because of the proximity of the additional device to the eye (recoil!). However, some additional devices have proven to be absolutely usable. Currently asked: PARD.
Tube night vision devices - addendum
Tube devices as an afterthought have repeatedly come onto the market in the past. Currently, additional tube devices are rarely found. Well-known devices are, for example, the Jahnke DJ-8 in the post-configuration.
